The exclusive 2-1/4" curved sway braces are expertly welded, to the 6" diameter center tube to provide maximum performance. Jaypro Sway Braces The Jaypro “J Brace” is located no higher than 36” above the backboard. This feature provides extreme stability and vibration reduction. Jaypro’s expertly welded backstops are constructed to meet the AWS Structural Steel Welding Code D1.1. Many competitors’ sway brace attachment points are located much higher on the mast causing more vibration, less stability, and less rigidity. Sway braces are located no higher than 36’’ above the backboard for extreme stability.
